Practicing Yoga…

If you are already practicing yoga its likely you’re immune system is the better for it, but for those of you yet to take a class or are relatively new to yoga, you may be unfamiliar with the healing benefits it promotes. Not only does it bring you flexibility and strength it also aides calm, allowing the immune system to combact common complaints. A sequence of dynamic postures that work up a sweat permit’s the free flow of energy in both directions of the spine, whilst the stretching and squeezing of the internal organs, massages’ out unwanted toxins. The Power/Shakti class allows you to build heat in your body and eliminates residue by sweating.

Yoga Etiquette

Firstly and foremost please come to class on time, that means arriving a few moments earlier to get changed and settle in. YogaHum is little yoga centre that prides itself on a sense of community, so take a moment to say hello to your fellow students even if you don’t know them.

Acknowledge other people in the room, eye contact and a smile go along way, even on days that we find it hard to cultivate a sense of openess.

Be aware of your actions, your tone of voice and your body language.

Please try not to eat at least 1-2 hours before class..

Finally please remember to switch off mobile phones.
